LvSUIA organized the All-Ukrainian conference “Law. Communication. Society”

The event brought together about a hundred students from different regions of our country. The discussion took place in Ukrainian, English, French and German.

The participants of the event were greeted by the LvSUIA Vice-Rector Olha Balynska.

"This conference has a long history and has already grown into a wonderful scientific and polemical tradition. Twenty-nine times in a row, the Lviv State University of Internal Affairs became a platform for discussions on the functioning of law in society and communication in various spheres of life. The aspects outlined this year are conditioned by an extremely difficult reality – the full-scale military aggression of the russian federation. Our state is facing challenges that encourage Ukrainians to unite and become stronger. Even in wartime, education and science do not take time outs. Participation in events of this format makes it possible to develop language competences and outline prospects for professional growth. The research efforts of the participants of the current event will become the basis for the formation of a strong intellectual elite," she emphasized.

Young researchers presented their reports on the current state of Ukrainian education, the interaction of art and law, gender equality, and cyberterrorism as a component of full-scale war.

In addition, the participants discussed the legal status of refugees and the protection of children's rights during martial law. The topics of the impact of war on mental health and the importance of language as a psychological factor in the formation of a person and a nation were also discussed.

Participants also discussed the importance of etiquette for police officers and the importance of communication skills for law enforcement officers.

It was also about the war crimes committed by russia on the territory of our country, and the criminal-legal characteristics of collaborationism.

This year, representatives of more than ten institutions of higher education of Ukraine joined the conference: Lviv, Donetsk and Odesa Universities of Internal Affairs, the Hetman Petro Sahaidachny National Army Academy, Lviv State University of Life Safety, Dnipro Humanitarian University, Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, Lviv Polytechnic National University, Ternopil Ivan Puluj National Technical University, Ternopil National Medical University and Sumy State University.

According to the results of the scientific event, theses of the reports were arranged in a separate collection. They demonstrate the authors' desire to tell the world in different languages about the phenomenon of Ukraine.
