LvSUIA Cadets Gain Insight into the “Custody Records” Project

This system has been recently implemented in two police units in the Lviv region.

The future law enforcement officers were educated on how the Custody Records system functions, meticulously documenting all actions concerning detainees around the clock. They were provided with insights into how the system operates in various scenarios.

Taras Khomyak, Head of the Human Rights Compliance Sector at Lviv District Police Department #2, delivered a comprehensive presentation on the project and emphasized its significance. He highlighted that the system meticulously records every action of law enforcement officers from the moment of detention, with the primary goal of safeguarding the rights of all individuals involved in the process.

In total, the Custody Records system is currently in successful operation in approximately 70 units of the National Police of Ukraine.
