The training for heads of investigative units of the National Police began in Lviv

Yesterday, a scientific and practical seminar for heads of investigative units started at Lviv State University of Internal Affairs. The seminar on the investigation of crimes in the field of transport was organized by the Main Investigative Department of the National Police. The event will last for three days.

During the seminar, topical issues of introducing of the latest technologies in the study of material objects in criminal proceedings on road accidents will be considered. Participants will also be introduced to the possibilities of technical expertise.

In addition, they will discuss the peculiarities of organizing and conducting an inspection and seizure of physical evidence and recording trace information during events on air and rail transport. The participants will also touch upon problematic issues arising during consideration of criminal proceedings on road accidents in courts of first instance and appellate trial.

All these issues will be covered by leading experts in these areas, as well as specialists with practical experience.
