LvSUIA representatives attended training on combating trafficking in human beings

The topic of the webinar was the use of social networks in the investigation of such crimes.

The webinar was held on the LEEd CEPOL educational platform. It was mastered by more than half a hundred cadets, as well as research and teaching staff of the university.

Participants learned about the European experience of combating "modern slavery" and the use of OSINT methods to detect and investigate sexual exploitation. In addition, examples of potential victims' identification and the suspected of child trafficking on the Internet and social networks were considered.
