LvSUIA representative took part in an international educational project

Iryna Hloviuk, Professor of the Department of Criminal Law Disciplines at the Institute of Law, took part in the educational project "Innovative University and Leadership. Phase VI. Models of academic autonomy and the university in the lifelong education system".

The researchers completed a training course and individual consultations at Warsaw University and Jagiellonian University.

For several weeks, the participants considered a number of important issues. In particular the University mission, doctoral studies, recognition of education and international cooperation, the system of awarding titles and academic degrees.

In addition, LvSUIA Professor took part in a conference dedicated to the topic of the university and war. It was organized by the Faculty of International Relations and Political Science of the Jagiellonian University.

Iryna Hloviuk told the international community about the challenges for legal education and science in the conditions of war. She emphasized their social significance for ensuring fair punishment of the russian federation for the crime of aggression and war crimes committed on the territory of Ukraine

At the end, representatives of seven institutions of higher education and scientific institutions proposed a joint project called "Innovative Research Supervisor PhD". Its implementation will help to improve professional development of research supervisors for post-graduate students.

It should be noted that the project was organized by the Faculty of "Liberal Arts and Sciences" of the University of Warsaw, the Foundation "Institute "Artes Liberales" (Warsaw, Poland) in cooperation with the Rectors' Union of Higher Education Institutions of Ukraine and the International Charitable Foundation "International Fund for Educational Policy Research", under the patronage of the Foundation of Polish rectors.
