LvSUIA freshmen swore allegiance to the Ukrainian people
LvSUIA freshmen cadets took the Oath of the National Police on the 14th of October. 349 young men and women swore allegiance to the Ukrainian people. The event was timed to the Day of Defenders of Ukraine. Festivities took place at the Training Grounds "Vereshchytsia".
Rector of Lviv State Univesrity of Internal Affairs Roman Blahuta also addressed the freshmen with a welcoming speech. "Every citizen of Ukraine who enters the service of the National Police personally takes the Oath. These simple but profound words concentrate all the requirements on which the service in the National Police of Ukraine is based. After all, there is no higher duty than to serve the Motherland".
Finally, there was a musical greeting from the cadets of the university Artem Fialo, Yuri Sochin and Vitaly Krovitsky.
The events ended with a solemn march of freshmen.
