"I'm safe with the Ministry of Internal Affairs". Young Lviv citizens took part in a children's painting competition (video)

Children of employees of Lviv State University of Internal Affairs drew patriotic pictures and presented their own vision of the work of the units of the MIA of Ukraine.

At the beginning of the event, the Rector of the University, Roman Blahuta, talked to the young artists, congratulated them on their participation in the competition and presented them with commemorative gifts.

Having joined the initiative, the kids dedicated their work to those who make them feel safe every day.

"In my picture, I have depicted a police car and two children next to it. I wanted to show that under the protection of our heroes we can always be calm and we are grateful for it," Valeriya Krasnytska said, a ten-year-old participant of the competition.

Bohdan Shevtsiv, a little Lviv citizen, also joined the art event.

"Drawing is one of my hobbies. Сcurrently, I am best at graphics. Therefore, this time the drawing turned out to be a bit minimalistic. Here is the main building of the University of Internal Affairs, where my parents work," the boy said.

In the second part of the event, young contestants took part in a master class on making patriotic Christmas cards for Ukrainian defenders. It was conducted by Viktoria Cherevko, a cadet of Faculty No. 1, artist and organizer of charity exhibitions.

We would like to remind you that the nationwide contest "I am safe with the MIA" is held on the initiative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine on the occasion of St. Nicholas Day. Children under the age of 14 (inclusive) can participate in it.
