“Break the silence”: LvSUIA cadets attended the premiere of a film about domestic violence during the war

Recently, the Lviv Film Center presented a documentary film with the symbolic title, "Break the Silence". Cadets of Lviv State University of Internal Affairs joined the screening of the film. It tells how the full-scale invasion of the russian federation affected the level of domestic violence in Ukraine.

The project is an insightful story about helping people who often avoid talking about their abuse because of pain and fear.

The project's heroes were professionals who support victims of domestic violence, including representatives of the Survivor Assistance Centers, the Hotline for Men, shelters and crisis rooms, and the Aurora online platform.

In addition, the film shows the work of the National Police employees, the public organization "La Strada-Ukraine" and the National Hotline for the prevention of domestic violence, human trafficking, and gender discrimination.
