Another stage of training on combating domestic and gender-based violence has ended in Lviv

New knowledge and practical skills in this field were acquired by the employees of the Main Police Department of Lviv region and the Patrol Police Department of Lviv region.

Such trainings for law enforcement officers have been taking place at Lviv State University of Internal Affairs for several months.

The training has been conducted by specialists of the European Union Advisory Mission to Ukraine. They report about the ways of fighting domestic and gender-based violence in European countries, share practical cases and advise on actions in difficult situations.

The participants also discuss the Ukrainian experience, work out the algorithm oflaw enforcement officers' actions during their inspection of cases of domestic violence and bringing the offender to justice.

Today, another stage of training has been completed at LvSUIA, and a ceremonial presentation of certificates has been taken place.

The training participants were congratulated HanneloreVallier, the Head of the EUAM Lviv Field Office, Olha Balyska, the LvSUIA Vice Rector, Andriy Kruten, the Chief of the Patrol Police Department of Lviv region, Roman Hrankivskyi, the Deputy Head of the Preventive Activities Department of Lviv region, Danylo Yosyfovych, Deputy Director of the Institute for Training Specialists for National Police Units.
