A meeting with representatives of the EU Advisory Mission (EUAM) Ukraine was held at LvSUIA

Yesterday, the Rector of the university, Roman Blahuta, met the Head of the EUAM Lviv Field Office, Hannelore Valier, and the Senior Adviser on General Policing, Michael Storm.

During the meeting, the results of cooperation were discussed and plans for the future were outlined.

The Rector thanked EUAM for organizing and conducting trainings on countering domestic and gender-based violence for law enforcement officers of the Lviv region and thematic seminars for cadets at the university.

Roman Blahuta invited the Mission's experts to speak at the scientific events that will take place this year at the university. In addition, he proposed to start training for police officers on the peculiarities of service in the de-occupied territories at LvSUIA.

The EUAM representatives emphasized that the implementation of such a comprehensive course for law enforcement officers is very urgent, so they expressed their readiness to support this initiative.

The Head of the EUAM Lviv Field Office noted that they are looking for an expert, who will be able to share the best practices of using a laser 3D scanner by law enforcement officers and conduct training on this topic. She also suggested organizing training for psychologists on communication with those who lost relatives as a result of the war.

At the end of the meeting, the Rector of the university, Roman Blahuta, emphasized that LvSUIA will continue its cooperation with the European Union Advisory Mission (EUAM) Ukraine.
