A meeting with representatives of Criminal Analysis Department was held at LvSUIA

The participants discussed the prospects of cooperation and the possibilities of joint initiatives implementation.

The First Vice-Rector of the University, Taras Sozanskyi, emphasized the importance of such a partnership, in particular regarding the training of police officers. He also presented the achievements in this field.

Representatives of the Criminal Analysis Department of the National Police of Ukraine, Denys Tsvetkov and Vitaliy Shamordin, spoke about the implementation of the Europol methodology for assessing threats of serious crimes and organized crime, which is one of the requirements for Ukraine's entry into the EU. Within the framework of this project, an analysis of legislation in the field of combating organized crime is provided, which is planned to involve university specialists.

The participants discussed the implementation of the project for the development of the direction of criminal analysis in the system of the National Police of Ukraine. The issue of the possibility of organizing educational training for police officers also was discussed during the training.

At the end of the meeting, Denys Tsvetkov and Vitaliy Shamordin invited representatives of the university to visit the Criminal Analysis Department to learn more about the specifics of this service.
