The department consists of: Ph.D., associate professor Leskiv GZ, who is a member of the specialized scientific council K 35.052.22 for the defense of dissertations for the degree of candidate of technical sciences in specialty 21.06.01 - environmental safety (Lviv Polytechnic National University); Doctor of Economics, Professor Zinaida Zhivko, who is a member of the specialized academic council D 35.725.04 for the defense of dissertations for the degree of Doctor and Candidate of Economic Sciences in the following specialties: 21.04.01 - economic security of the state; 04/21/02 - economic security of business entities; Doctor of Economics, Professor Marta Kopytko, who is a member of the specialized academic council D 35.725.04 for the defense of dissertations for the degree of Doctor and Candidate of Economic Sciences in the following specialties: 21.04.01 – economic security of the state; 04/21/02 – economic security of economic entities and specialized scientific council D 26.130.01 with the right to accept for consideration and defense of dissertations for the degree of doctor (candidate) of economic sciences in specialties: 21.04.01 - economic security of the state; 21.04.02 - economic security of business entities "University of Economics and Law" KROK ".
Hobela V. in 2020 successfully defended his dissertation on the topic: "Greening in the state's economic security framework" in the specialty 21.04.01. – economic security of the state.
Employees of the department based on the results of their research have a large number of publications, some of which are reflected in the scientific-analytical journal "Social and Legal Studies".
It is worth regarding the scientific work carried out by researchers of the department in association with students. Namely:

- Work of the student scientific circle "Manager"
Research and teaching staff of the Department of Management underwent internships, including international ones, at universities in Amsterdam (Netherlands), Bruges (Belgium), Rouen (France), Paris (France), Nuremberg (Germany), Vienna (Austria), Budapest (Hungary), Kholm (Poland), Athens (Greece), Verona, Padua (Italy), Riga (Latvia). In particular, in the following educational institutions: University of Vienna; University of Verona; University of Padua; Higher School of Non-International Relations and Communications in Chelmia; ISMA University, International Academy of Informatics in Kyiv.
Professor of the Department Zinaida Zhivko received an international research grant for student and faculty exchange (16 people) from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) in Germany. Project "Student trip of a group of foreign students to Germany in 2020" Project number: 57550048.
According to the DAAD grant program, the delegation of applicants and teachers from Lviv State University of Internal Affairs will visit the DAAD office in Berlin, the Dresden Chamber of Commerce (department in Bautzen), the Department of Regional Economics in Kamenets, the Institute of Economics in Bayreuth, the University of Bamberg, Finance Center for Europe in Frankfurt, University of Aschaffenburg, Department of Economics in Aschaffenburg, Faculty of Economics, University of Jena, Faculty of Economics, Logistics and Transport, Erfurt University of Applied Sciences. There will be lectures at universities, acquaintance with the student life of German universities and internships in management, economics and planning, the study of psychological aspects of the management process in several industrial institutions and chambers of commerce.
