Cadets, students and employees of the university collected more than three hundred books for Ukraine's defenders, who are undergoing rehabilitation in Lviv hospitals. In addition, project participants wrote warm words of gratitude for the heroes on many book covers.
"We have already given some of the books to wounded soldiers to support their fighting spirit and thank them for their courage. These are purely Ukrainian publications. The list includes non-fiction, fiction and documentaries," Yuliana Litvinova, head of the Council of Cadet-Student Self-Government of LvSUIA, noted.
The "Books to Heroes" project was implemented at the initiative of the Department of Education, Science and Sports of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. According to the organizers, such an action will improve leisure time and speed up the recovery of Ukrainian defenders.
