Personal data
In 1973 graduated from the Faculty of Biology of Lviv State University of Ivan Franko. In 2000 graduated from Lviv Institute of Internal Affairs at the National Academy of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. In 1995 defended doctoral dissertation. Since 1997 has worked as a Deputy Head of the Department of Criminal Procedure and Criminology; since 1999 – Professor of the Department; since 2003 – Head of the Department of Criminology. Was awarded the badges of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine "For Distinction in Service" of the 1st and 2nd degree, the Medal of the President of Ukraine "For Work and Victory".
