The Department of Administrative Law and Administrative Process is the basic educational and scientific structural unit of the Faculty №3. The main tasks of the department are:
- organization and implementation at the appropriate scientific and methodological levels of the educational process in order to train highly qualified specialists;
- implementation of scientific research on the profile of the department, training of scientific and pedagogical staff and their professional development;
- providing methodological assistance to the management of the university, faculties and courses;
- organization and conduct of educational work with cadets, students and listeners.
The scientific - practical circle "Administrator" works at the department. The range of scientific interests of teachers is outlined in the following areas:
- improving the administrative activities of the police;
- current problems of improving administrative legislation in the context of building Ukrainian statehood;
- study of the administrative and legal mechanism of crime prevention.
Within the framework of legislative activity, the staff of the department provides make suggestions for amendments to the current legislation of Ukraine in the field of law enforcement.
The scientific and pedagogical staff of the department provides methodological assistance to the units of the National Police of the Lviv region in the preparation and conduct of classes in the service training system.
The organization and conduct of classes at the department are closely related to the practice of the National Police of Ukraine. Practical classes on certain topics are held directly in the basic units of the National Police. Experienced employees of practical police units are invited to conduct them.
