“The years of study at the university are the best in life", LvSUIA graduate and defender of Ukraine Oleh Fasolya admitted

On the occasion of the Ukrainian Volunteer Day, which is celebrated annually on March 14, Lviv State University of Internal Affairs organized a meeting with the soldier Oleh Fasolya (nickname "Kep"). In 2014, he went to the front as a volunteer, and now serves in the 24th separate mechanized brigade named after King Danylo.

The defender was a cadet of Faculty No. 2. He shared with the audience his memories of studying at his Alma Mater and noted that those years were the best in his life.

Oleh Fasolya told about injuries at the front and emphasized the importance of soldiers' physical training.

"The most important is to constantly learn, because war does not forgive mistakes. You are responsible not only for your own safety, but you also have to support those around you," – the defender noted.

"For me, the war began when I saw the death of my comrade. Then I felt the war psychologically. Nowadays, my family motivates me to fight, first of all, my daughter. In addition, I want to take revenge for my fallen comrades," said Oleh Fasolya.

Iryna Shevchuk, a cadet of Faculty No. 2, shared her impressions of the event.

"I liked the way the defender talked meaningfully and at the same time with humor about his stay in hot spots. I wish him to return to his family as soon as possible, to a normal life," the cadet said.

We would like to add that the meeting was held with the assistance of the epartment of career guidance and communication work of the LvSUIA.
