Students of Lviv State University of Internal Affairs were told about the features of forensic photography

Third-year students of faculty No. 1 attended a practical lesson "Features of detecting, recording and removing traces of criminal offenses. Forensic photography." It was conducted by the Head of the Department of forensic support of National Police Department in Lviv region, police major Volodymyr Tkach.

He told future law enforcement officers about six methods of forensic operational photography. In addition, students learned about the specifics of photographing during investigative (search) actions.

According to Volodymyr Tkach, every specialist should have not only technical skills in working with photographic tools, but also perfectly know various methods of photography.

The specialist suggested that young men and women independently make macroscopic images with a specially equipped camera.

It should be added that in criminology, this method is used to fix small objects such as bullets, sleeves, seals, as well as small traces and particles.

The lesson with the practitioner was held on the initiative of the Department of Actualization of Learning and Practical Training of Lviv State University of Internal Affairs.
