Cadets of Lviv State University of Internal Affairs communicated with practioners. Valeriya Ivkova, Senior Inspector of the 1st sector of the Cyber polive Department in Lviv region, and Serhiy Domchak, Senior Inspector of the 1st Unit of the Department, visited the university.
The police officers told the audience about the main activities of the Cyber police of Ukraine.
"One of our tasks is to combat crimes in the field of intellectual property," Valeriya Ivkova noted.
She explained to the cadets what the terms "virtual piracy" and "cardsharing" mean. In particular, she advised young men and women to be careful not to become victims of Internet fraud.

The cadets also learned about OSINT, the technology of search, accumulation and data analysis.
"Due to this technology, it is possible to collect a maximum of information from open sources for a full-fledged professional analysis. At the same time, the data can be placed in various forms: articles, publications, discussions on forums, video and audio files, documents, pictures, animations, etc.," Serhiy Domchak said.
LvSUIA cadets also learned about types and sources of OSINT.
The event was held on the initiative of the Department of Actualization of Learning and Practical Training of the university.
