Future applicants attended the Open Door Day at LvSUIA

Lviv State University of Internal Affairs hospitably welcomed future applicants and their parents. About 150 applicants from different regions of Ukraine attended the event, namely Lviv, Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Khmelnytskyi, Rivne, Ivano-Frankivsk, Volyn, Zakarpattia and Donetsk regions.

At the beginning of the event, the participants performed the National Anthem of Ukraine. Then, a moment of silence was held to honor the memory and heroic deeds of the soldiers who died in the fight for the freedom and independence of our country.

The attendees also viewed the presentation video about Lviv State University of Internal Affairs, from which they learned about the structure of the university, educational programs and directions of training of cadets and students.

Roman Blahuta, the Rector of Lviv State University of Internal Affairs, addressed the participants, "I welcome future applicants and their parents at Lviv State University of Internal Affairs! We have organized this event to familiarize you with the educational programs we are implementing. Thousands of our graduates are successfully working in the professional field, such as the National Police units, various law enforcement bodies, state authorities and local self-governments. It is important to remember that after Ukraine's victory over the enemy, it will be necessary to rebuild the state. To do this, we must educate young, ambitious and motivated specialists who will realize their responsibility well and protect Ukrainian future with dignity."

Yuriy Nazar, the Responsible Secretary of the university's admissions committee, the Director of the Institute for Training Specialists for National Police Units, was the next speaker. He spoke about the structure of the university and the peculiarities of education under the state order, as well as at the expense of individuals and legal entities.

Prospective applicants had the opportunity to ask Yuriy Nazar questions about this year's admissions campaign.

In the second part of the event, applicants and their parents saw a spectacular performance by the KORD special police unit in the university yard.

After that, the attendees visited the forensics laboratory, the language classroom, the library and the information technology office, as well as inspected the shooting range, the free educational space and talked with the representatives of the higher education institution.

At the end of the event, representatives of LvSUIA helped applicants who chose the profession of a policeman to submit an online questionnaire at the educational portal of the National Police of Ukraine.
