Vasyl Matviy and Volodymyr Vysochanskyi, employees of the Explosive Service Department of the Police in Lviv region, visited the Lviv State University of Internal Affairs.
They told young men and women about the main types of explosive devices and ammunition used by the invaders.
The Deputy Head of the Explosives Service Department of the Police in Lviv region, police lieutenant colonel Vasyl Matviy, acquainted the participants with the principles of searching for and disarming explosive objects and substances.
In addition, the cadets learned about practical cases of demining de-occupied territories.
In the second part of the event, cynologist Volodymyr Vysochanskyi told how service dogs are trained. And his four-legged assistant Watson found a hiding place with a suspicious package in a matter of minutes.
