Graduation of bachelors of the Educational and Research Institute of Law and Law Enforcement took place in Lviv State University of Internal Affairs.

Today bachelors of part-time studies in Law and Law Enforcement have been awarded with diplomas in Lviv State University of Internal Affairs.

The event was attended by the head of Lviv State University of Internal Affairs, police colonel Dmytro Shvets, the first vice-rector of the university Ruslan Strotskyi, assistant rector Bohdan Bilinskyi, assistant head of the Main Department of the National Police in Lviv region for veteran policy Vasyl Ivanovych, director of the Educational and Research Institute of Law and Law Enforcement Ivan Krasnytskyi, as well as graduates and their families.

The event began with a solemn performance of the National Anthem of Ukraine. After that, the participants observed a minute of silence in memory of the fallen Heroes – defenders of Ukraine, law enforcement officers and lawyers who gave their lives in the struggle for justice and independence.

Then the graduates received their bachelor's degrees.

The rector of Lviv State University of Internal Affairs, Dmytro Shvets, addressed the youth with a welcoming speech. "Today is a significant day for each of you. Receiving a diploma shows that you have acquired the necessary knowledge, skills and professional training. I am sure that you will successfully realize your potential in important areas for the state. New opportunities lie ahead, including obtaining a master's degree. I believe that you will move forward, make changes and bring our common victory closer," said Dmytro Shvets.

Vasyl Ivanovych, a veteran of the russian-Ukrainian war and assistant chief of the Lviv regional police for veteran policy, was particularly emotional, calling on young professionals to be a support for the nation in times of trial.

"Dear graduates, being a lawyer is not only a profession, it is a great honor and responsibility at the same time. Protecting the rights and freedoms of citizens, forming a new democratic society, and strengthening Ukraine's authority in the world is largely your vocation and your mission. You are on the side of the law, and therefore on the side of the people. Law is not just a norm. It is justice. And it is often the last bastion of hope for a person. Remember: you are not just specialists. You are the shield and conscience of the state. And today, someone who needs your protection is waiting for you," Vasyl Ivanovych emphasized.

At the end of the event, the graduates were wished not only professional growth, but also unbreakable spirit, faith in justice and love for Ukraine.

The event ended with a joint photo to commemorate the occasion.
